THE COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR BOTH BEGINNER AND ADVANCED LEVEL STUDENTS

Traditional Hatha Yoga (HTY0101)

In this subject, the students will be able to understand and perform the practice of traditional Hatha yoga. The course is primarily practical in nature and the students will be practicing asanas covered in the subject. The course is designed for both entry level as well as advanced level students. More than 30 Asanas and the correct way of performing them are taught on the subject.

Ashtanga Vinyasa and Alignment (AVA0201)

The students will get familiar with Ashtanga Vinyasa style of yoga and the right alignment for performing postures under this yoga style. Apart from Hatha yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga style is a dedicated course inclusion in the 200 hours yoga teacher training program. After completing the course, the students will have a better understanding of the Ashtanga Vinyasa style of yoga. The course is designed both for beginner and advanced level students.

Yoga Basics (YBS0301)

This course is included in the curriculum to teach the students about the ancient yoga philosophy of traditional Hatha yoga. This is the purest form of yoga without any modern age dilutions. After studying the course, the students will be able to understand the evolution of yoga as a scientific practice.

Anatomy and physiology (APL0401)

Learning anatomy is important to know about the effects of stretching on our body. The course is primarily designed to teach the anatomic structure of the body and the effect of yoga specific exercises on the human body. The classes in this course are primarily theoretical in nature.

Pranayama and meditation (PRM0501)

The course PRM0501 is designed to teach students the techniques and benefits of Pranayama, Meditation and Mantra Chanting. All three topics will be covered deeply in the course. Practical is an important component of this course and the students are encouraged to practice silence before attending the course.

Yoga philosophy (YPH0601)

The course YPH0601 will cover the philosophy behind yoga in a detailed manner. The course is theoretically oriented. It is designed such that students who are planning to practice as a registered yoga teacher get an understanding of the foundation of the philosophy of yoga.
