Yoga Teacher Training in Goa Curriculum
The program at Hari Om Yoga Vidya School is created and targeted at generating motivating and proficient yoga teachers that are skilled in the traditional practices of the yoga sutras and can pass this knowledge to their students. The yoga teacher training in goa schedule is based on the five points of this art which can be understood as the practical application of the 4 traditional paths of this art. The daily schedule includes two yoga classes which are then followed by two lectures, two meditation sessions. This philosophy forms a part of a comprehensive curriculum.
Our aim is to propose you a better perception when you teach a yoga class and clear each question or query that may arise during the class. In the morning class and the evening class, students will help the main teachers! In the final week of yoga teacher training, students will have a committed class for one hour or a one-and-half hour with a dedicated teacher, who will be there just to watch you teaching. ASANAS PRACTICE, YOGA PHILOSOPHY – POSTURE DETAILED
Asana Practice: The program at Hari Om Yoga Vidya School is created for students to offer a solid base in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, focusing on the correct alignment of the yoga postures. A daily asana practice session gives the students a chance to practice their own asanas and helps to build deep insight into the different forms and postures. The daily in-depth practice with individual corrections comprises of the Multi-Style yoga poses, Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar), 100+ asanas variations, from Beginner level to advanced level, Deep relaxation, Posture alignment and Release of blocked energy. Training sessions for all age groups.
Yoga Philosophy: Spiritual Yoga Philosophy is intertwined all through the course and you will get knowledge about Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, allowing you to compare modern and classical yoga. Understanding the real meaning of Yoga. These classes endow a great insight into the views of others and assist reflect on your knowledge and all that you have accomplished. In turn, you will learn how to absorb these ancient philosophies into your own life, and will eventually experience the harmony of the mind, body, and soul. PRANAYAMA, BANDHA, MUDRA
Pranayama (breathing techniques): Pranayama is one of the 5 Principles of Yoga or the science of breath control. It increases lung ability by calming the nervous system and balancing the two fractions of the brain. The art of lung cleansing exercise (Kapalabhati), alternate nostril breathing (Anuloma Viloma) and mental cleansing of the nadis (Samanu) will be taught during the course. Focusing on the cadence of your breathing and becoming familiar with it is the aspect of pranayama. This is a most important feature of yoga and is usually ignored as most people give importance to just physical practice. Pranayama is a superb way to de-stress. By practicing pranayama you will create emotional and spiritual power to keep a healthy life every day.
Kriyas: Cleansing will purify the inner system and enable the breath to flow easily. Demonstration and explanation of Kapalabhati, Tratak, Dhauti, Neti, Nauli and 6 traditional purification exercises for the different parts of the body namely the nose, eyes, air passages, stomach and esophagus, abdominal organs and large entrails exercises and their effects will be shown. Individual teaching will be provided.
Yoga Anatomy: An introduction of the major body systems will be given. The effects of asanas and pranayama on the muscular systems, cardiovascular system, digestion, respiration, skeletal, and endocrine system will be explained in detail to the students. Nutrition and diet facts are also imparted for a better understanding of the anatomy. These classes will give you a deeper understanding by observing the procedure of every posture.
Our main purpose is to educate you about anatomy so that you leave with a better consciousness of your own body. During the sessions, you will lay attention on how to adapt your practice by recognizing your weaknesses. These may be due to a lack of flexibility or strength in an appropriate area. You will learn formation techniques to make corrections in your yoga practice. Throughout the sessions, our experienced yoga teachers provide you with complete personal attention to assist you.
Centering Yourself: Begin your conversion journey through the daily analysis of yourself! This is about Self Growth and includes the roots of yoga, effective and simple with teaching tools.
