Vinyasa yoga is a yogic study based on the flow. Under the guidance of Yogi Somdutta, the students will gain a deeper understanding of the knowledge and techniques of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga style.
We follow Mysore style of traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa.
The course AVA0201 is designed for both beginner and advanced level yoga students. The first two weeks of the course cover the basic of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga training and the remaining two weeks will cover the advanced postures.
Although the prior experience of Vinyasa yoga practice is not mandatory, the students are encouraged to let the instructor know about their level of experience so that the instructor can tailor the teaching accordingly.
The 48 hours of the course are dedicated to AVA0201. Classes will run every day from Monday till Saturday and each class will be of 45 Minutes duration. At the end of the course, students will be given chance to teach the class, this will help them to have a hands-on practice of teaching in a class setting.
Towards the end of the course, the students are expected to give a theoretical as wells practical exam to qualify for the course.
To qualify for the course, the students must keep a minimum of 90% attendance in the class.
